Meadow, Sapi Pertama Yang Memakai Kaki Palsu

Meadow is the name of a calf the first time in the world who uses a fake two hind legs to get back to normal. Meadow forced foot amputated because of frostbite suffered second toenails (rot due to the rigidity of ice).
Cows are now 11 months old was found on Agusus ago by Nancy Dickenson and her son in a field grazing in northeastern New Mexico, United States (U.S.). When found, Meadow could barely stand because both hind legs nail rot due to the rigidity of ice. To save the Meadow to be able to walk normally, Dickenson had bought cattle from the owner and immediately brought to a local veterinarian.

Veterinarians, assisted by students of Colorado State University, amputate both legs behind the Meadow and prepare the appropriate prosthetic with cow bone structure. "Meadow is the world's first cow using two artificial limbs," said Robert Callan, a veterinarian who operated on Meadow.

Dickenson stated the operating costs of prosthetic limbs for Meadow reach thousands of dollars and fully borne by himself and his family. The name means meadow Meadow which is given Dickenson in accordance with the current location of black angus cow was found.

Meadow is now able to run and adjust to other animals in the Twin Willow, Dickenson owned farms. When the neighbors asked if the cow would be slaughtered for meat, Dickenson said, "Are you kidding? This is my baby a new one."
